I have decided to make a wiki regarding Chi and it's usage to help the admins understand it better and for people who wish to use it in there own Character in RP or are just curious. If your questions are not answered, simply ask me since Chi on this site was my invention and I know best how it works. For game play mechanics if you make a custom musou with Chi, it would most likely be best to Ask the admins for game play mechanics and how practically it would work. I don't take responsibility what you do with Chi 

also it be a good idea to only have a limited number of abilities or techniques of value, How many you ask? Best to ask the admins after picking/creating your abilities for your character.


Chi is the complete energy formed from Ying and Yang Energy within the body that all individuals produce within there bodies to some extent. Chi is created when two other forms of energy called Ying and Yang Energy are molded together with one's stamina.



Ying Energy is collected from the physical body itself and through extremely intense training, this can be increased nearly unlimited through training and exercise. Yang Energy comes from one's mind and just like Ying Energy, it can be potentially increased unlimited through extremely intense meditation and study of the mind. Although technique can be used one of the other, they are often extremely weak and are not worth using however by combing these two energies and creating Chi will in turn make the created technique far more powerful but more difficult to control or tear on the body. By practicing however a technique repeatedly will build up experience and have the body slowly adopt to the technique and will require less Chi and less tear on the body. Chi runs out very quickly and needs to be use in short burst for it to be safe as Ying and Yang under normal circumstances with most people could take several hours to a few weeks to fully recover depending on the technique although the later is rare. Those who run out of Chi completely will die. Ying and Yang energy are Produced within the appendix with the the energies circulates throughout the body in a network called the pathway points or flood gates, which is similar to the vascular system. It is EXTREMELY rare for a Chi user to open there floodgates as it requires further training and takes of constant training to even open however More Chi energy is released and can be used to there advantage but opening one is far different then opening all Eight floodgates but this is extremely dangerous to the point of being fatel. The only groups that have successfully learned to generate large amounts of Chi for practical use and use it outside there bodies using techniques are the Monks of Mount Amne Machin and the ones they have taught such as the aging Monk Hua Gui through nearly forty years of intense training has become the most adapted at using Chi through practical means and in Combat where as people such as Zhou Tai and Wu Zhou Shang Sun have been trained by him and while they can use Chi to there advantage, there skill and knowledge are far below his. It is possible for one to learn it own there own however this is EXTREMELY difficult and requires far more training and meditation then normal to use in practical means. 

At any given time, a user will have a "maximum" amount of Chi they know by instinct how much they have and what can be used before it runs out and they need to rest to replenish it. With Extremely intense training and practice, the maximum can be increased, but only to a certain extent as they are limited to the quantity and strength of there Chi that their blood(genetics. family line). Each person's Chi is different and as such gives off a unique Chi signature which there chi's color can be anywhere from White(normal) to Black(almost non existent ) with the color often reflecting inner personality and true desires and needs such as White and golden often portraying holy or honorable figures, red demonstrating inner rage at it absolute limit or black which shows that person is sinister and corrupted behind redemption as well as have feeling to it where it can feel warm and bright or cold and ugly. Any trained Chi user can sense or detect nearby chi user nearby and through intense training can sense normal people though is rare and extremely difficult since most non-Chi users do not generate enough Chi to be detected under normal circumstances. Chi signatures are passed through blood and family, allowing a person and there family to be found by their Chi alone over time.



Chi Hand Mudras also called Hand Signs and Hand Seals are used to perform many Chi oriented technique's that with using the exact amount of Chi necessary to perform a technique is manipulated through using Mudras. Many techniques require different Mudras or sequences of Mudras for techniques which WILL require memorization to do the technique.
Techniques often require a number of Mudras to work however a skilled Chi User can use less or even one to perform the same technique. Although it is uncommon and requires skill and mastery of the technique, Chi users can perform techniques with one hand at the cost of great concentration.

Bird- often used with acrobatics Agility techniques
Boar- often used with
Dog- often used with sense or smell techniques
Dragon- often used with Chi oriented Buff techniques
Ox - often used with pure Strength techniques
Tiger- often used with strength and agility techniques, combining both 
Snake- often used with stealth or hearing techniques 
Rat-
 often used with running or regular agility techniques 
Horse- Often used with endurance techniques 
Monkey- often used with hand martial abilities
Hare- often used with Illusion or unique techniques 
Ram- often used with defensive techniques such as healing or passive abilities


Known Techniques that can be used(This is will most likely keep being updated)

Novice level - 

Chi Control - you can feel/sense and control your chi

Baobao - lowest form of healing, Can heal scratches and internal bleeding but cannot heal serious or fatal wounds at all although can heal small animals, Requires little Chi to perform.

Apprentice level - 

Hasting Dragon - performed by using Tiger Mudras, is able to run extremely quickly by having there Chi focused entirely on there feet, making them quicker but weaker in all other departments.

Hùshì Healing - lower form of Jilie Healing, The most practical healing technique for use on the battlefield as it does not requires large amounts of Chi but take far longer to stabilize/heal the person being healed(They are not completely healed, If a person is critically wounded, they can only be stabilized until taken to a hospital)  

Chi Sense - Can sense other Chi users

Physical Chi foot control  - Chi Users can use there Chi in there feet to move on any surface such as water walking or walking on a ceiling.

Journeyman level -

Chi Breathing - Chi users can force there body's instinct to shut itself down after long periods without oxygen or air, allowing the user to be able to go without breathing for longer periods than he or she could normally by using there Chi reserves. Highly Trained users of the technique could hold their breath for hours or even days however that is rare and extremely dangerous to the user since they use there Chi to keep themselves alive. This ability used independently, however, would not prevent anything entering or leaving the respiratory system of the user. 

Jilie Healing - performed by using Ram Mudras, by gathering one chi's into there hands before physically laying there chi concentrated hands on the persons body, they can completely heal there wounds at the expense of using a large amount of there Chi in the process, Although not lethal in one or few  times used in a row, constant usage constantly can be fatel and kill the user. 

Expert level -

Jīngshen Confrontation - Performed by using Ram Mudras, Is able to temporary have there spiritual conscious enter another one's mind directly for a small period of time. To the other person it is a dream, a nightmare or could be a vision depending on the person, requires great concentration and must stand still while performing the technique and must be touching the person physically.

Master level -

Shensheng Healing - upgraded technique of Jilie Healing, Completely heals the person physically,mentally and spiritual at the expense the user nearly uses all there Chi in one go and requires rest for a few days to a week depending on the user.


Forbidden Level - Are techniques that are outright forbidden by the admins or HEAVILY monitored the admins with there usage. These techniques will be limited with most likely only one or two characters being allowed to use this techniques. These Techniques can only be used as a Musou

Ascended Warrior - Through deep meditation before battle, The user can enter a state of enhanced awareness and uses there Chi to power up drastically, increasing there strength, speed, stamina and reaction time for a time depending on the user's will and determination. The user can continue to increase there power to be nearly unlimited however furthering there power will put far more strain on there body which could result in serious injury or death. When used, an aura appears around the user like a flame often taking color on hows the user feels at the time.



Although through training, it can be contained and activated at whim, Often Ascended Warior is triggered

by in response to a need either desperation indignation such as the person about to die or a need to save someone or even recalling a horrible event which has mentally damaged them such as losing a close friend or by being forced to watching an entire village destroyed.



Overview

Ascended Warrior is a extraordinarily and very powerful transformation assumed by the greatest monks of Amne Machin that by through years of intense training and discipline are able to temporary open there Chi pathway points/flood gates, completely removing the limit the overflow of the Chi within a person's body. By doing this, They far surpass there physical limits depending on how many Chi pathway points/flood gates and how much Chi Energy they can control. Although incredibly effective in battle for a time, After the body weakens and can no longer control it's Chi, it will the body very weak and possibly extreme damage to their own body depending on the level of Chi Energy released.



The Chi levels that be unleashed from 3x the user's abilities to an uncountable number however the more the person pushes there body, the quicker the technique will end, possibly causing injury or death. However the user is essentially a Glass cannon, while they can dish out huge amounts of damage and cause havoc, they must constantly control there bodies Chi and keep it monitored at all times, For every hit received, they will lose control of there chi(%)

Ascended Form MK 1



First form of Ascended Warrior, Increases the abilities( strength, speed, stamina and reaction time) of the user by 2x there default. This form uses 10% of Chi Energy(Basically ten turns then its done after)



For every hit received, they will lose control of there 10% of there Chi,If defeated or run out of Chi during Battle roll a 5 dice



1-5 Passes out



6 Heavily injured, exhausted, pass out and captured







Ascended Form MK 1 Mastered



Mastered First form of Ascended Warrior, Increases the abilities( strength, speed, stamina and reaction time) of the user by 1x there default. This form uses 5% of Chi Energy(Basically twenty turns then its done after)



For every hit received, they will lose control of there 5% of there Chi,If defeated or run out of Chi during Battle they Passes out





Ascended Form MK II



More advanced form of MK II, Increases the abilities( strength, speed, stamina and reaction time) of the user by 3x there default. This form uses 15% of Chi Energy(Basically six/seven turns then its done after)



For every hit received, they will lose control of there 15% of there Chi,If defeated or run out of Chi during Battle roll a 5 dice



1-5 Passes out



6 Heavily injured, exhausted, pass out and captured







Ascended Form III



New form that focuses on Reaction times, Increases the abilities( strength, speed, stamina and reaction time) of the user by 4x there default. This form uses 25% of Chi Energy(Basically four turns then its done after)



For every hit received, they will lose control of there 25% of there Chi, If defeated or run out of Chi during Battle roll a 5 dice



1-4 Passes out



5 Heavily injured, exhausted, pass out and captured



6 Dead



Ascended Form IV



Increases the abilities( strength, speed, stamina and reaction time) of the user by 5x there default. This form uses 50% of Chi Energy(Basically two turns then its done after)



For every hit received, they will lose control of there 50% of there Chi, If defeated or run out of Chi during Battle roll a 5 dice



1-2 Passes out

3-4 Heavily injured, exhausted, pass out and captured



5-6 Dead



Ascended Form V



Increases the abilities( strength, speed, stamina and reaction time) of the user by 6x there default. This form uses 100% of Chi Energy(Basically one turn then its done after)



For if there hit received, they will be out of the fight, possibly heavily injured or dead, roll a 5 dice

1-3 Heavily injured, exhausted, pass out and captured

4-6 Dead

I can help clarify a few things about the usage of Chi.

In most cases, you won't be allowed to know more than two techniques for using it, if that. Certainly not a large variety of different attacks. It would be unabalanced to others.

Also under Forbidden, you list them as only being allowed as Musou. But in reality, I believe ALL usage of Chi constitutes a musou attack.

They are not simply things that can be thrown off whenever you want.
