Appearance: 

Wei Ming is a albino, which leads to her unique appearance.Standing at 5'2 with a aura that seems to make one feel as if a fresh wind is blowing. A girl with a delicate build yet a healthy heart and mind. Her eyes have the impression of being somewhat cold, but when she speaks her feelings become very evident, Her normal garb is usually comfortable dresses that are  tailor made by her maids.  She often looks troubled when alone or with her closest confidants. 

When leading a army she dresses in a battle uniform that her uncle Wei Gan had a blacksmith forge for her to match a image she had in a prophetic dream. She takes on strong holy warrior vibe. that draws much attention from onlookers in these dark times.

Personality:  Ming is quiet and subdued in most social situations. A true lady in public and a strong believer in honor and respecting the life of others. Even though a sheltered girl. She is rarely selfish and does not wallow in her noble status. There can be times when this can change such as if she truly believes in something. Wei Ming does not change her mind easily, if at all due to another's opinion.

Wei Ming is easy to upset yet also shows joy very easily. This often causes her to become flustered if her emotional states interfere with tasks at hand. Even so, she has a surprisingly cool head and has the ability to lock up with a prayer.

Ming is very, very devoted to what she believes is her heavenly messages. She doesn't believe in any particular religion, but thinks that everything is connected by the "Will of Light". 

Ming is definitely a thinker, spending long hours  alone and getting lost in her own head while in public. This causes her to get lost easily to her handmaids dismay. 

Ming hates war and thinks fighting should only be a art form as she enjoys martial dances. This does not mean that it is not necessary at times and she would bring harm... even kill if it meant he dark dreams of the future would not come to pass.

History: Wei Ming is the descendant of the Wei Family of Chu. Chu was a kingdom that was most known for it's virtuous attempt to usurp the corrupt reign of the Han in the southern regions. The kingdom rose up from the efforts of Wei Sun first called "Blessed Governess", then the "Blessed Lady" due to her actions, appearance and good luck with harvests and trade.

The kingdom made efforts to remain a vassal of the Han, while still creating it's own identity. However this was not to be. Too many corrupt lords, too many pressures from the rising Wu kingdom in the east. While Chu endured and continued it's aims of saving the people. It's leader could not. Wei Sun passed young. Leaving the realms to her adopted daughters who attempted to rule together to continue their mother's dream. 

It did not take long for the once unified Chu to fall into infighting as the two sisters had wildly different concepts of justice, right and wrong, and methods. While both incredibly talented. They slowly grew their own separate factions that that began to work with less and less unity.

The kingdom found it self surrounded by enemies from everywhere. Most allies began to back away fearing for their own lands. Even with their talents, the Wei's could not evolve the Chu further and lacked the almost celestial attraction that their mother possessed. As they aged, they lost their way.

Wei Ling disbanded her side of Chu and undertook her calling as a adventuring duelist. Stories tell of a swords woman in white around the land. She is rumored to have died in a duel far to the north.

Wei Xing maintained rule of Chu. She was always the eccentric sort but became far worse in Chu's last days. She was a powerful sorceress who used her magic and foresight to manipulate Chu into a tyranny. Strangely, she didn't even attempt to resist during the final battle. Stating it was a "part of her grand plan".
 
Wei Ming's father had left Chu early in life. He served the Han in Luo Yang and did everything he could to distance himself from his clan. He eventually earned the right to own a small land near Chang Sha. While Chang Sha was thr Capital of Wei Xing's side of Chu, it was still home to him and he ruled with a isolationist mindset (giving regular tribute to the Han of course!). It would seem the Wei were a thing of the past.

However Ming's unique birth brought eyes back on Gan's household. It wasn't until very late in their lives that Wei Gan and his wife had a child. Yet when she was born with pure white hair and being oddly spiritual even at the earliest stages of childhood. It became a sign that fate was not through with the family yet. Gan tried hard to educate her to be humble and obedient to the Han, not a hero. Several of the house maids were counter productive as they were daughters of some old Chu officers and servants. She came to hear much of their stories.

Ming grew up like a fairly normal if sheltered noble, and if not for her odd traits would have stayed normal. Unfortunately she suffered from dreams. Dreams of things see couldn't understand. It was as if some unseen force was constantly showing her things. Things that would befall the land. She saw foreign armies invading. Killing countless masses. She had dreams of war and flags rising and falling. Ming spent many a night sleepless and crying.

Once a adolescent, Wei Ming began to spend more time alone in her room. Her father and mother both dead. Ming's servants and guards felt worried for her. Often she would not answer her door and within she would be found staring out her window at the sky. She began to gather holy books from all around the land, hiring assistance whenever the option presented itself. The Wei Manor looked like something like a grand library of texts now about different cultures and religions. Such as those from eastern Japan and western India and distant Rome.

We Ming began to think of the dreams as a calling. She donned the armor her father had forged at her request during a long episode waking from a dream. She sent out messages to travelers that she desired to learn to fight., and offered gold for training. She feared that the small amount of people who lived on her land would be hurt. She held local gatherings and spoke of how important faith in heaven is. She spoke of things and seemed to take another persona on stage. Her strange appearance garnering more attention. Some old folk felt the old Chu hope that was brought by Wei Sun of old in the speeches.

The name White Princess began to circle in local villages and many travelers stopped by for the quirky recluses gatherings. Some came away shrugging, some rejuvenated, some inspired, some angered. By 16 years old, a small cult seems to gather and post about the White Princess an the warnings and messages to the land.

Wei Ming doesn't fully understand why she does these things. The bright and warm light that is so rarely in her dreams fuels her with a devotion to do something for the land, for the future. Believing that something terrible is coming she decided to do her part by speaking her thoughts and dreams to those who listen.

Not a trained fighter nor a brilliant strategist. Wei Ming is a girl maturing into a unknown future.
