Essential Information

Appearance: His name is Sun Quan, and he has a magnificent beard. His eyes are green as if a beard was colored green. His hair is the most beautiful shade of dark brown fitting for a beard. His distinguishing trait is that of his famed bushy beard. Artisans around come to just gaze upon, and be dazzled by his natural masterpiece. Quan is a relatively fit and toned man, as if he didn't have a good body it would shame his beardliness.

The man, bearded man himself casually wears a red robe with dark brown edging with the symbol of the Wu embroidered onto the back of it, and on the front the crest of the Sun family over his breast. In battle though he adorns himself properly in the finest of armor made in Wu.

Personality: Crazed obsession Healthy fondness of beards. Quan is incredibly narcissistic, and makes no point to hide it. Second to his love of himself, he loves beards and will cry when a great beard is lost. Close to that is his love for his family. The exception is Ren, who he values as much as another beard. That is why he does not require her to wear a fake beard around. This does not make the bearded Quan a selfish person though; in actuality he adores his Kingdom even viewing himself as the protector of Wu. He views Wu as the home of the Beard culture. And with that Quan has quite a fanatical drive and ambition to bring all of China and more under the banner of Wu. In this way he may not be the wisest of lords, but he has the ambition and charisma of a leader. Nor is he afraid to delegate and listen to his followers, as anything to further Wu will be brought under consideration.

Family: Quan a member of the esteemed Sun clan, and is the second son of Sun Jian. Quan follows in his father's bearded footsteps, and is very proud of this. His elder sibling being Sun Ce, and his adorable beardless younger sister Sun Ren.

History: Born in the Sun family, Quan had a quiet upbringing. While his elder brother Ce was very active and always out fighting, and exploring. Instead Quan had spent alot of time in their family's estates studying and interacting with his father's retainers. He developed a diligent attitude in life, and understood civil matters more than of martial subjects. Though he wasn't ignorant as some of those retainers were also Ministers of War.

One day during his childhood his father had come home after a long campaign. The light must have hit his father is just the right way, and it looked as if his beard was shining. Sun Quan saw, and this began his life long obsession with beards and his own beard. After this moment Quan had to break out of his shell. A shine had appeared in his eyes, as he found something to live for. He began to leave the palace more and more often and went out to the populace to gather a following. Growing into a man, these same followers had spread their culture and work to many places in the Kingdom. Some of these followers even pledging themselves to Quan as his personal armed retinue. This cycle continued all until the day he rose to lead the great Kingdom of Wu and where his plans can be carried out with all the resources he needs.

Other Information

Ornate Dao:. A newly crafted Dao he received upon ascending to kingship. It has yet to make a name for itself, but there will be plenty of opportunity.

Secondary Weapon:. A Qiang mainly used for mounted combat, but Quan has a hook if he ever needed to use it to disarm or act as a guard to catch or deflect an incoming blade.

Horse:. A bearded horse.

Optional Information

Musou Attack: Although trained, Quan is not a formal warrior. He has spent more time learning to lead and move armies. And as such does not have musou.
