Appearance

A man of an average stature and build, The Wicked Blade looks like an unremarkable man. No scars upon his face are visible, his hair is often kept up in a bun and is usually seen sporting peasant garbs. A blade he named Fang sits in an unadorned scabbard upon his waist. Despite the unremarkable features that can be over seen easily by most, his chest and back are covered in scars including a large burn the envelops his left leg. 

When he is a mercenary, is often seen sporting garbs of those who hire him including with plenty of leather armor for free mobility. Fang is still at his side, in it's more ornatecase, as well as an array of knives that play out upon his waist. His head is usually covered by a hood and a shield is often nearby.

When he is employed as an assassin, he is seen sporting all black and a white spirit mask. The armor is mostly cloth with plate in key areas like upon his chest joints and arteries. He forgoes his sword for the knives only.

history

Born into a prestigious merchant family, it was easy to see at a young age that Liu was a different kind of child. He rarely ever cried. He didn't play with the others his age. He spent his time on studies. He became a shut in, much to the dismay of his mother, Lin, and she began to force him to help his father when he was home with the caravans.

One day while helping his father, he was accosted by a few older kids. In this altercation, he was left beaten and bloody. From that moment on Liu knew that he would no longer lose to any odds such as that. For the next two years, he studied fighting techniques and spars between the caravan guards and he absorbed as much knowledge that he could.

At the end of the two years, at the age of ten, he found the boys out near the local swimming hole. With a wooden stave in his hand he beat all three of the boys to a bloody pulp. After this altercation, his mother was forced to send him with his father as he trained. It was for the next six years he spent his time honing his skill with a sword. 

It was when his father was assassinated by another merchant when his life once again took a darker turn. It took him three years, but he found the man who ordered the death of his father. He stalked the man for months before he finally snuck into his caravan and slit the man's throat. 

After running, for the next few years his reputation as a mercenary and an assassin grew. His skills grew again once more and he earned the nickname "The Shadow Serpent" when he waited for three days in the grass for his victim to finally travel. Now, at age 25, he makes the majority of his living as a mercenary and works only for the thrill of completing the mission.
