Nobunaga sighed, folding the paper before him and dipping his feather into the ink. The candle flickered light across the room, as he too burnt into the evening. The black scrawled across the page as he scribbled his notes, his letters, his strategies and formations.

“Hmph..”

The demon king pushed the chair back, returning the feather to the pot of ink before stretching and closing his eyes momentarily. There was a hush, of almost too much silence as his great lungs growled for oxygen.

“Well… you got past my guards…”

The man still with his eyes closed slowly opened them, it appeared as he was talking to himself, but he was so confident in the presence of another. The candle flickered once more.

“Impressive..”

His serious face turned to one of humour before he let out a hearty laugh, before using his fingers to extinguish the candle flame. The room instantly shrunk into darkness.

“You think darkness is your ally?”

[Kicho]

Lady No appeared behind her husband and simply responded "Of course I do my love. If you did not notice that something was wrong I would have killed you." Her fathers last words to her before she left Mino echoed in her head as she sat next to her husband "Kill the fool." A simple but messy outcome if she so desire.

Nobunaga creaked a smile, a short one before returning to his serious look. It was still completely pitch black as he allowed the senses do the talking between them. It was obvious in his eyes that something else was occupying his mind.. but it shook off.

"Hmph..." he sighed turning to the woman. "...what do I owe the pleasure of your company, my beloved?"

[Kicho]

Lady No laughed with a sadistic tone "I wish to see the Tiger of Kai's head on a platter. The fool is starting to annoy me. I also wish to spend some time with you shall we take a walk in the moonlight." Lady No waited for a response.

Lord Nobunaga smirked, she always did have a dark and sadistic sense of humour. He said not a word, before offered her his hands to accompany her for a walk in the moonlight. An offer which he couldn't refuse. They made their way out of his office, and into the family estate.. where the gardens existed. The two of them as close as ever wandered to a short wooden bridge over a koi pond to observe the fish. The full moon lit the sky in a charming way, but not a single star dared to occupy the darkness.

"The night's beauty is only exceeded by your own.." he complimented the woman. "..and nowhere near as deadly." again with the compliments. He made no comments about the Tiger of Kai. He had a lot of respect for the man. He was smart, and devious. Oda was not going to become complacent because of his recent victories. Shingen's experience outweighed his own, and the Takeda cavalry was notorious - and beyond this all a warrior within his ranks was known to be a rising star. Yukimura Sanada...

[Kicho]

Lady No simply replied "Thanks my love." She looked up to catch a glimpse of the moon before looking back at her husband. "It has been awhile since we walked together. The last time was after we crushed my pathetic brother in Mino." She coldly said. Lady No was quite loyal to her husband she even helped him during the invasion of her home. "My love I will be heading to Mino to rally the remaining clans to join us." No knew some clans there still oppose her husband but as the last member of the Saito clan it was her duty to force them to join.

Nobunaga admired the pond below them, the waterlines gentle floating across the surface. "Too long.." he added to the comment about them walking together. It was rare for them to share a moment like this, caught up in the unification of Japan. "Soon.. it will all be over.." he smiled, dreaming of that day when he could spend more time with his life. It was a distant thought.

"Hmph." he remarked, it was a good idea and nothing less than he expected. He knew despite her heritage rallying people to the Oda banner was no easy feat. "Perhaps take Mitsuhide and Gracia with you..." he suggested. You never could be too safe. He completely trusted his wife, but he knew she would be used as a weapon against him if she were to fall into enemy hands. He brushed her hair back away from her face before planting a kiss on her lips.

"Give them hell..." he whispered ever so softly into her ear.

"Of course my love I will. If you decide to attack the tiger send word I will be there to join the chaos" No replied sadistically. No looked at the sky once more as the moon starts to be cover by a lone cloud. "I guess I should start making preparations for the journey ahead" No simply stated. Mino the home were she grew up she liked it before the war with her brother but the castle was destroyed now. Her home gone but it can be rebuilt to her vision. "Before I leave I will begin to rebuilt the castle as well."
