YEARS TO REMEMBER

Celadon City hasn't been the same since the Gyms closed down. Pokémon fighting has gone underground, and the sport has gotten a taste for blood. Trainers have been forced deep into the city's seedy underbelly to keep training, but the Pokémon aren't the only ones in danger. Now, trainers must choose to either become a master in the grim world of illegal Pokemon fighting, or make a desperate stand to free them all from the criminal grip of Rocket Industries. People still remember the years when you could travel as a trainer and collect your badges. That is just a sheer memory.

The Plot

The Rockets, for years Team Rocket’s name struck fear in people’s hearts. There were rumors that they had killed people and Pokemon to get what they wanted. A few Pokemon trainers eventually managed to disband them, first in Kanto, then in Johto. Everyone thought that it was done, they’d been defeated not once but twice and scattered to the winds. But we were wrong, they came back and they came back stronger than ever. Some of the trainers who defeated them defected, they rose and soon enough had conquered Celedon City and spread across the rest of Kanto. Now they’re securing their foothold in Johto too.

This wasn't taken lightly however trainers all over the world stood up and fought against the Rockets. Some were killed, some were tortured and forced to give information on other Rebels. Some were captured never to be seen again, and others still were captured but managed to escape. Though how they escaped is something you would have to ask them. Others looked at the losses the Rebels suffered, the tortures they went through, and didn't want anything to do with it. The chose to follow the rules, they had better lives than the Rebels, but not all the Followers were fully loyal. Many ran an underground railroad to shelter Rebels.

Celedon City has become something of a warzone, the Rebels using guerrilla tactics, hit and run. Many Rebels sleep on the streets at night some are captured whenever evidence comes to light. It’s suspected that the Rockets have infiltrated the Rebels: that they’re working from the inside to bring them down. Some Rebels managed to join the ranks of the Rockets to work toward the same end: sabotage from the inside. The stakes are raising, the Rebels don’t have the numbers of the Rockets, or the supplies. But they’re driven by the belief that they are right, that everyone deserves freedom.

Well, what will you do? Will you join the Rockets and help them, hurt them? Be a loyal Follower, or help the Rebels on the down low? Or…. Are you one of those that aims to misbehave?
